PORTAL

UPLOAD

EXAMS

Data today is like gold, and we must be extremely careful about how we share it, especially with sensitive data like healthcare. The Turin Medical Association recommends (or even prohibits) not using email to send medical reports or tests, but rather use more secure, encrypted methods.

Therefore, I created a secure portal to share documents whenever needed. This can be used by patients, after prior agreement during the appointment, or by collaborators or physiotherapists if they have questions about treatments or therapeutic approaches.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I submit the exams I've been requested through this portal?

Yes, this is exactly what the portal was created for. However, there must first have been a medical examination in the office, which can only be completed by the doctor reviewing the tests.

Furthermore, this postponement must be explicitly agreed upon in writing or verbally during the visit or telephone call, otherwise the tests will not be viewed. Furthermore, a specific password is required for uploading.

What tests can I submit?

Virtually all types of tests can be submitted through this portal. Even paper reports—just take a photo and then upload it through the dedicated page. You can even upload photos from your mobile phone.

Is the procedure difficult?

The procedure is extremely simple and guided step-by-step. To send instrumental diagnostic tests delivered on a CD-ROM, it's essential to have access to a CD drive, which unfortunately are hard to find on computers these days. Unfortunately, Italy is far behind in this field.

What can I do if I don't have a CD player to upload the exams to?

If you've agreed with the doctor to send the tests, if you're unable to find a CD player to perform this simple procedure, you can go to one of Dr. Vasario's offices and have the office send it to you. The offices are trained to send them in these specific cases.

Are my tests and data safe?

All files stored in the cloud are protected by AES 256-bit encryption during and after transfer. Additionally, pCloud also applies TLS/SSL channel protection during transfer. This file protection is not limited to potential hackers, but also protects against potential hardware failures.

Furthermore, Dr. Vasario deletes the files received once they have been reviewed unless they are required for planning a surgical procedure, in which case they are destroyed as soon as the procedure is performed, keeping only the key images for the continuation of the treatment plan.
